I love my job! Nothing is more rewarding than helping a client find their dream home and seeing the smile on their face as I hand them the keys at closing.  When I got into real estate, it was my goal to base my business on referrals.  If I had to be a "salesman" in order to be successful, I wasn't interested.  Instead, I decided to base my business on relationships, counting on the assumption that if I provided the very best service possible to my clients, they would happily refer me to their friends & family....and I would create lasting relationships along the way.  I am happy to say that I have been very successful with this business model, getting more than 90% of my business via referrals from past clients, and making some really great friends to boot!

In addition, working as an architect and urban planner in the Atlanta area for the ten years prior to coming to RE/MAX gave me invaluable knowledge and a deep understanding of the Atlanta market, and I enjoy putting my experience in that field to work for my clients now. 

From the numerous redevelopment plans I worked on with the in-town neighborhoods, to the multitude of master plans I helped shape for many of Atlanta’s suburban communities, to the facility-wide programming I managed for several local school systems, I feel I have an edge that very few other agents can offer: intimate knowledge of what is planned for the future of Atlanta; experience working hand-in-hand with local governments, community leaders, and school systems; and the ability truly understand the market and development trends and what they mean in relation to your investment, both today and for the future.  In addition, my training and experience as an architect allows me to help my clients look past the way a space currently exists and visualize what that space could be in the future.

In my mind, real estate, architecture, and urban planning have a common goal: to increase the quality of life for the resident. I believe that the location and community in which a house exists is as important an ingredient in determining “dream home” status as the actual physical and design elements of the building itself.  It is my goal to find each and every client the home they have been dreaming of, in a neighborhood they love.
